Air Jordan Retro 12 - Obsidians

As we inch closer to the launch of the “Obsidian” Retro XII’s, more high quality photos of this never before retro’d sneaker will surface.

The “Obsidians” will return for the first time since it’s initial release in 1997.  Similar to the quality of the upcoming Retro XII “Playoffs”, this Obsidian colorway appears to be almost identical to its original counterpart. An obsidian leather upper and a white mudguard delivers a perfect look to match the “UNC” Tar Heel uniform.  Little highlights of University Blue and finishes off this colorway on the tongue, heel, and outsole branding.  One quick difference between this and the original model is that this version will have plastic chrome eyelets instead of metal.  This model along with the rest of the Retro XII’s will be packaged with the new Jordan box that includes an exclusive XII hangtag.

The Air Jordan Retro XII “Obsidians” will release on June 23, 2012 for $160.00 USD.
